I'm a big driving game fan, I'm still loving DiRT 2 even though I worked on it (that normally stops you wanting to play a game), failing that I've been a fan of the GTA series for ages. I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption. Absolutely loving the interactive soundtrack in that one. My tip for the best soundtrack BAFTA award next year :)

Mmmm. I think it's probably Dungeon Keeper 2. I'm really proud of how that turned out. Atmospheric, gothy drum and bass type techno ;)

Thanks - Duke Nukem is probably the soundtrack I get the most positive comments about :)

Mmm difficult question that one. I get a kick from quite a few of them, there's quite a few different styles in there.

Atmospheric definately is one of my favs. Nearly didn't go into the game that one as it was a little too laid back. I do like my take on Stalker, with Stalker 2 but to be honest, I think there's quite a few which are catchy in their own right. Hard question to answer.

303 - no, that's the full version. Just fades out (I'm not very good at endings!)

BTW - I just uploaded two tracks which weren't used in the final game as they really didn't fit. Don't think anyone's heard these... ever... :-

I don't think I'll be doing the two unused ones, no. It's not likely I'll redo all of the Total Meltdown tracks, just the ones I want to ;)

You can deal with the PS1 frame rate then?? ;)

No, I've not done any game music since Dungeon Keeper 2 unfortunately. Just sound effects now... well, I say just... that's a difficult enough job these days... :)

cool i have just given the cyberspeed tracks a listen too all i can say is wow its hard to be live that those tracks were used in a ps1 game. I cant wait to hear the re done tracks i totally agree with you on the game industry i take it you heard that this is Vegas was canned after fours years in development and like most people I'm still waiting for duke nukem forever which seams to be taking forever lol  :D :D Its a shame that you are not making any more game music but do you still compose tracks ?

Mm Cyberspeed was my 1st foray into dance/techno music. Very limited equipment for that, which is why I've redone all of the tracks. Just about ready to launch now but since moving I've not been able to put the music room back together. Hopefully soon, then I can put the finishing touches onto that and get it out. It's 2 years late at the moment.

Ha, I think you'll be waiting a loooong time for Duke Forever ;)

Yeah, still doing tracks in my spare time... not that I get a lot of that these days ;)

I release stuff here, and on Reverbnation which I've just joined. There's a track on there you may not have heard before... again, a WIP. It's called Space Duregungle....

Mmm, well I grew up with Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield and Rob Hubbard (Commodore 64 games composer), and I think they had the biggest influences on me. You're right, I'm really into Royksopp at the moment too!

Yeah of course, stick the tracks on your player.

its funny that you say that jare was an influence on you as two of the cyberspeed tracks sound very jare like. is there any game that you wish you could of done the music for (sometimes when i play a game i stick my mp3 player on and sometimes the music goes with the game I'm playing) i will have to pick up a copy of dirt 2 but to be honest i don't like rally games i prefer need for speed but i will give dirt 2 a go lol

Hmmm, is there any game I wish I had done the soundtrack too? I would have loved to have done some of the other Warhammer games out there, and fused some of those Dark Omen themes with something more futuristic for the Warhammer 40k games, that would have been cool for sure. I'd love to have done some of the new Syndicate games EA may well be working on soon.

NFSMW rocks big time imo, the last few have been pretty crap though.

Nope, nothing to do with Forever. The new version of Stalker sounds great! :)

Since moving house, I only got the 'music room' up and running today, so absolutely nothing. I did finish a track called "Space Duregungle" though - I'll upload an mp3 of it shortly. It'll be part of my orginal electronica album which I'll finish one day too ;)

So how is Cyberspeed coming? Is there still a chance of it getting released this year? I've been dying to hear it.

Pretty much done. I just need to stop trying to change things. That's the trouble with no deadlines, you can just carry on... and on.... and on ;) Really must make it a priority now. Got a free weekend in 3 weeks time, so maybe then....

:) Thanks. I've re-edited it now so it's about 1.20 shorter. Cyberspeed finishing next, then upload to iTunes etc :)
