MIDI for remixing purpose
« on: November 25, 2008, 08:56:17 AM »
Hi Mark!

I heard cold storage remix of your Albino 2 which I personaly think is a really great track. Would it be possible for you to upload midi files of some of your tracks (like Albino 2) for fan-remix purposes?

Best regards
/morge

Hiya,

Tim's remix of the track was a real (and pleasant) shocker. One of the other sound designers at work was playing the original, which Tim posted on one of the industry forums in a thread "who wrote this" - then he told me of his cool remix.

I'd not thought of posting midi's or Cubase files before though, simply because of the times in the past where I've been ripped off by people.

Since there's already a remix of Albino 2 out there, it would be interesting to see other people's take on it. I'll have a look into this when I get a little bit of spare time!

tt4n,

m

Hi Morge,

Here's a MIDI of Albino 2. There arn't many drum tracks here as most of it was manipulating audio and using loops.

Let me know how you get on with it,

tt4n,

m

Hi!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I've switched DAW since I last wrote here (from Reason to Ableton Live) so it may take a while for me to get some decent results :). But I'll notify you as soon as I'm done with my remix!

Regards
Morge
